Chris-minty Martinis

Ingredients:
Miniature candy canes
2 1/2 ounces vanilla vodka
1 ounce peppermint schnapps
½ ounce dry vermouth
Fresh mint
Lime wedge
Ice

Directions:
Crush about 5-6 mini candy canes on a plate to rim the martini glasses. If you don’t want to rim with crushed candy canes then just dangle a miniature candy cane on the rim of each glass.

Wet the rim of the glass with a lime wedge and coat with crushed candy canes. Chill the glasses in the freezer for about 10 minutes.

Pour vodka and schnapps in a shaker over crushed ice and shake well.

Pour a splash of vermouth into the ice cold Martini glasses. Swirl the vermouth around the glass 3 times, discard what’s left.

Strain peppermint martini into Vermouth coated glass and garnish with a sprig of mint. Sip and enjoy!
